Jenning’s – Sneck Lifter 5.1%. An award winning beer, a strong, satisfying ale, wonderfully warming and full of fruit, malt and roast flavours right through to the finish.

Timothy Taylor – Ram Tam 4.3%. A dark, strong beer that has a reputation as a ‘Winter Warmer’. Wholesome and satisfying, this mellow beer has body and depth, leaving a pleasant fruity afterglow. Caramel combines well with malt and hops to produce a well-balanced black beer with red hints and a coffee-coloured head.

Black Sheep – Riggwelter 5.9%. A fruity bitter, with complex underlying tastes and hints of liquorice and pear drops leading to a long dry bitter finish.

Bateman’s – Salem Porter 4.7%. A black and complex mix of chocolate, liquorice, fruit, hazelnuts, almonds, liquorice and spicy hops, gently fused with roasted grains to create a flavour explosion of warm buttered toast and crunchy nut biscuits.

Rudgate – Ruby Mild 4.4%. Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2009. Nutty, rich ruby ale, stronger than usual for a mild.

Daleside – Blonde 3.9%. Smooth, creamy and subtly fruity, medium dryness. Light transparent ginger blonde. Cascading surges of various different tastes giving way to a suprising dry finish. St. Austells – Trelawny 3.8%. Trelawny Ale invokes the best Cornish traditions, heritage and innovation. Locally grown barley is gently roasted to give this beer a classic burnished copper colour and a robust full body which belies its modest strength. Peach and apricot notes dominate the aroma, with hints of butterscotch and toffee apple. The taste is full, with toasted biscuit and jam being balanced by the mellow, yet assertive bitterness of tangy hops.

Roosters – Yankee 4.3%. A straw-coloured premium aromatic bitter. Soft bitterness. Aromas of lychees and tropical fruit with a delicate aroma leading to a well-balanced taste of malt and hops with a slight evidence of sweetness, followed by a refreshing, fruity/bitter finish.

Thornbridge – Jaipur IPA 5.8%. Flavoursome IPA packed with citrus hoppiness that’s nicely counterbalanced by maltand underlying sweetness and robust fruit flavours.

Lancaster – Amber 3.7%. A high quality, session beer. Punching above its weight in flavour, Amber, is a low strength bitter that is dark gold in colour and complements its flavour profile with an abundantly hoppy bouquet allowing the drinker to relish subtle floral and citrus aromas.
